If you can’t stand the way this place is, take yourself to higher places

Happy Birthday to me, vidheads. In celebration of this momentous occasion that took place 28 years ago today (ah, who am I kidding, I’m the only one celebrating it, and my idea of celebrating is sitting around all day checking my e-mail to see if anyone else has remembered, then getting depressed and watching clips that will make me feel not quite so bad about my own life whilst scratching myself). ANYWHO, I digress. Because today is a special day to at least one person in this room, I opted to post the music video for my most favorite song at the moment, “Break,” which is by one of my most favorite bands (definitely my favorite Canadian band), Three Days Grace, from its most recent release, “Life Starts Now.” The rest of the album, save for “The Good Life” and “World So Cold,” is just sorta OK compared to previous album “One-X,” but this song is fan-frikkin-tastic. Not to mention, Adam Gontier has to be the best looking lead singer, ever. EVER. Period.

It takes a real man to wear pink, right, Barry? And to be hit in the face by copious amounts of pink, black, and questionably innuendo-y white paint. But we won’t go there. The band is hot. And, thank the rock gods, is coming to Oklahoma City in May. I’m so there.
